Marketing ChannelsAssisted SalesOur experience, backed by research, shows that the most effective manner to achieve successful sales of Extended Service Contracts is through direct interaction between sales staff and customers immediately proceeding or in conjunction with the product sale. Informed and knowledgeable sales staff that are able to relay information to customers and deal with sales objections immediately and effectively achieve higher close rates. Sales staff utilizing information on actual costs of typical repairs and case examples are by far more successful in selling Extended Service Contracts. We facilitate training and provision of materials to support these efforts. Retail kits are an innovative marketing strategy that TwoEXtend utilizes that is designed to increase extended service contract sales at point-of-sale. This tangible product combines an extended service contract with accessories that a consumer would typically need when they first purchase a product. Kits are currently available for printers, notebook computers, PDA’s, digital cameras, and DVD/home theatre. Kits can be customized for virtually any core product that requires accessories such as cables, adapters, etc. Self Serve (Unassisted Sales) For larger volume distribution clients where the sale of product is unassisted or where there is no point of sale prompting capability or no sales culture to support the introduction of an Extended Service Contract program, TwoEXtend utilizes various Sales Merchandisers as a tangible product. Customers must be able to purchase the warranty with minimal guidance. These products help increase customer satisfaction, reduce product returns and create incremental revenue. Research TwoEXtend’s research includes conducting “focus groups” with our customer service representatives, listening to comments and requests that they hear daily from a variety of customers.
